Cat Deeley...model to VJ in three minutes!
Cat Deeley is (arguably) the best VJ in the world...but how exactly did she get there? Well, Cat was a model from the age of 14. She traveled all over the world and met a lot of new people. She made a three-minute tape with her boyfriend and sent it off to MTV. She thought nothing of it. Little did she know that MTV were about to make her one of the most loved VJ's on TV.

Cat is now one of the most in-demand faces on TV of today. With shows such as MTV's Hitlist Uk, Stylisimo!, and ITV's SMTV live and CD:UK it's not surprising! Cat is gorgeous and talented. Hitlist UK is a must-see. Cat along with Edith Bowman make the show a guaranteed barrel of laughs....Cat and Edith are, undoubtedly, the best team on TV today!

Cat's advice to all the wannabe VJ's
Cat is a very sucessfull VJ and it's not surprising that so many people want to follow in her footsteps. She gets to rub shoulders with stars such as U2 and Ricky Martin (yuck)! Cat's advice to all you wannabe VJ's out there is to send off a low-budjet tape and if you don't first get accepted "try, try again". Cats other advice is that if you don't get accepted, try working behind the camera to learn some skills to make you a better presenter! GOOD LUCK!
